Congratulations to Miss Southwest Kansas 2009 Sandi Dreitz. She was crowned at the pageant held in Ulysses on January 10th. Ms. Dreitz is from Plains, Kansas and will represent us at the Miss Kansas Pageant held in Pratt on June 4-6, 2009.
Farmers Market will begin on Saturday, June 6th and will continue each Saturday morning from 8am to 12pm. Vendors will set up on the lawn at the Historic Adobe Museum. There will be vendors selling baked goods, produce, plants and flowers. New vendors are welcome. No garage sale items please. For more information contact the museum at 356-3009. The Farmers Market will be open through October.
