The Grant County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet will be on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Doors open at 6:00p.m. with the meal at 6:30p.m. Join us for a "Totally Awesome 80's" evening! Local businesses will be decorating tables around that theme with take home goodies. Jo & Earl's will cater the dinner. Your tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office during business hours and will also be available at the door. Tickets are $15 per person. Don't miss out on this fun evening!
Congratulations to the Historic Adobe Museum with it's display of the 1930's Dust Bowl to Gas Boom. It is one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas History. Thank you for everyone who took the time to vote. Stop by the museum and take a look at the Dust Bowl exhibit.
Congratulations to the new Miss Southwest Kansas, Jennifer Long and the new Miss Santa Fe Trail, Audrey Lamar who were crowned at the Miss Southwest Kansas Pageant on January 7th, 2012. We wish these young women the best of luck as they move on to the Miss Kansas Pageant. We are happy to have you representing Ulysses and Grant County.
